So we’ve closed our first session of video explorers a week ago! The students have produced interviews, green screens, talents, infomercials and skits! All have been combined and set to air on WCTV!
Today, we started sessions two. took a few minutes to gain the kids attention because it was report card day. I remember that was always my least favorite day. These days, they make the parents sign the report card! so anyways, we watched the green screen extravaganza, and the talentless show.
We then started a new project called “the charlie chaplin”. those of you who are unaware, mr. chaplin was a black and white movie star way back when. These filmed had crazy classical music in the background, subtitles and sound effects. The explorers were hesitant with the idea first, but quickly jumped on the bandwagon and are in the process of producing a “i love lucy” and “3 stooges” spoof. Should be great!
